Aggressive coach driver?

A coach driver - who was driving a Compass Travel coach - has allegedly blared his horn at a Stagecoach bus driver for something that wasn't his fault.

The alleged incident happened on Chantryfield Road in Angmering, West Sussex, at around 9:18am this morning.

A coach driver, who was driving a private Compass coach, allegedly acted aggressively towards a 9 Arundel bus driver and his passengers, blaring his horn and making offensive hand gestures, after he had no choice but to for wait for badly parked vehicles to move from a narrow road. This meant the coach driver had to wait for the bus in front of him; however, he did not like this, so he decided to react aggressively instead of simply waiting. None of this was the bus driver's fault; in fact, he reacted calmly and did the right thing by waiting patiently instead of risking an accident by trying to squeeze through a gap which was too small.

Fortunately, there were no young children or babies on the bus at the time the alleged incident took place. However, if there had of been any young children or anxious passengers on the bus when the incident happened, they may have easily became severely distressed by the loud noise (beeping), meaning they would get upset and possibly kick off.

The Arundel bus's passengers, mainly elderly, were discussing the alleged road rage, condemning the coach driver's behaviour.

The alleged actions of the coach driver were classed as road rage and aggression, meaning he has committed road traffic offences. Hopefully, Stagecoach will report the coach driver to either the police or his boss.
