Air ambulance lands in Lancing after woman seriously injured in collision with car

The air ambulance has responded to a pedestrian in Lancing being hit by a car.

Sussex Police said officers were called to North Farm Road at around 10.55am this morning (August 20) following a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

A woman in her 70s has suffered serious injuries, police said, and the road is currently closed.

The air ambulance has been seen landing at nearby Monks Recreation Ground.

Anyone with information or who witnessed the collision is asked to report it to police via collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting Operation Layer.
