An emergency ambulance - which had its blue lights and sirens on - was forced to wait for around 5 minutes at Roundstone Level Crossing earlier this morning.

Traffic, including the ambulance, had to wait for an unusually long time for four trains to pass the Crossing, and this long wait may have risked a life (or lives). However, hopefully, the ambulance got to its destination fast enough to help or transport the patient(s).
It is unusual for four trains to pass the Roundstone Level Crossing at once, so they were probably late.
It can be dangerous, or even deadly, if an emergency vehicle is delayed because every second counts and matters in an emergency.
