"Grinch" vandalises Christmas decorations

Two spirited residents of Horsham have reported having their outdoor Christmas ornaments destroyed by a "Grinch".

One family had their wires cut that were powering the expensive illuminations.

A married couple of Horsham, Julie and Chris, decorate the outside of their home every Christmas and have done so for six years. They were left feeling shocked after their expensive illuminations were destroyed and called the vandal "a Grinch on the loose".

Julie's husband, Chris, spent a long time decorating the family home. Julie said they are feeling "let down" amidst the costly damage and it being Chris's birthday.

Julie said they have had no complaints over the years of decorating and the lights are always turned off by 10pm at night.

This is not the only incident, there was another family who had their decorations vandalised in Southwater, Horsham.

Julie said she feels "puzzled" as to why someone would vandalise her decorations. Julie and Chris are now urging others to "be vigilante".
