Dark cloudy skies/showers are expected to last for the rest of the morning with a high chance of sunny weather and a less cloudy sky later on, according to the Met Office.
Rain is expected to fade later this morning with winds easing and clouds possibly coming to an end. Winds are, however, expected to be quite strong later today, especially along the Littlehampton seafront.
Today's highest expected temperature is 14°C, meaning beachgoers should be wearing warmer kinds of clothing and a coat amid the colder weather.
Today is not the best of times to visit the seaside; however, you should still enjoy your daily exercise.
Thick grey clouds are expected to form overnight with a fifty-fifty chance of frosts hitting the town tonight. This means gardeners should be protecting their plants, and farmers should be protecting their livestock/animals.
Tonight is expected to be warmer than usual with the lowest expected temperature being 9°C.
