A man has been sentenced to over 8 years in jail after he drove into three people — including an innocent and well-respected teacher/mum — in Wigan, England.
Two of the driver's victims were injured. However, sadly, the 44-year-old mum didn't make it out alive. The 19-year-old unlicensed driver snorted nitrous oxide while he was driving, and he also tested positive for cocaine and cannabis.
Incidents like this go to show how driving dangerously or under the influence of alcohol or drugs can ruin multiple lives. Driving dangerously or under the influence is likely to ruin your life because you will most likely be sent to prison and be given a criminal record, and you might have to live with the guilt of killing someone — for the rest of your life.
