A 'yellow warning' has been issued by the Met Office amidst the possibility of a "life-threatening storm".

Beachgoers and swimmers have been warned not to swim in the ocean because there is a chance that there may potentially be life-threatening waves and debris flying around beaches, according to the Met Office.

There is a high risk that the potential storm may cause damage to gardens, buildings, trees and bushes, and temporary structures, as well as roof tiles.

Public transport is likely to be affected amidst the high risk the storm poses to passengers.

Power and signal outages are possible because electricity may be affected by the weather.

Some footpaths, roads, and spaces may temporarily close for safety reasons.
