Police appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Bognor Regis

Police and paremedics were called to attend a Chichester Road, North Bersted, collision — which involved a motorbike and other vehicles. However, when officers arrived at the scene, paramedics had pronounced the 26-year-old motorbike rider dead. His death was "tragic", said Sussex Police officers.

A Portsmouth man, 31, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless/dangerous driving, and he remains in police custody at this time while police continue to investigate the fatal collision.
