Crowds flock to the seaside

Thousands of people travelled down to Littlehampton to enjoy a day out on the beach or a walk along the promenade amid the scorching hot summer weather.

Some people were enjoying time on the beach, while others were simply happy to walk along the promenade in the sun.

Many people were enjoying a swim in the sea or a paddle in the water. Others were sunbathing, enjoying the sunshine.

Families were enjoying a ride on the summer train, which runs along the seafront.

A few people were setting up barbecues with their families.

East Beach Café saw hundreds of new customers visit them — and so did many other cafés, such as: Toast.

Today seems like the perfect day to visit the Littlehampton seaside.
