E-scooter rules and public interest clash after UK police issue warning

Police forces often post the said law on the scooters, claiming that they fall under the same legislation as cars and are illegal to operate without a licence. However, most officers don't take any notice of the riders.

The police focus on the safety of the public and are generally uninterested in pursuing teenagers having fun and messing around.
