Fire service free seagulls from netting

Firepersons freed seagulls from netting, after they got themselves trapped in the netting. This happened yesterday morning, #June 17th, 2021, in #Worthing.

The seagulls had got themselves trapped in some netting on the roof of a building in Cissbury Road, Worthing, #UK.

A spokesman said: “Joint Fire Control mobilised one crew from Worthing Fire Station at 10.34am, along with the station’s aerial ladder platform."

“Firefighters, using the aerial ladder platform, were able to safely free the trapped gulls, before booking away from the incident at 11.30am.”

Wadars Animal Rescue had initially responded to reports of the trapped seagulls, the team then requested help from West #Sussex Fire, & Rescue Service to free the seagulls from the netting.
