Helicopter circles National Park

A Royal Air Force - UK Army - Chinook was hovering over the South Downs National Park at around 15:30pm earlier this afternoon, according to Flightrader24.

The Chinook was consistently flying around the South Downs National Park, and I am not aware of the reason for this.

The helicopter showed up as an aeroplane icon on Flightrader24; therefor, you would not know it was a Chinook unless you tapped on the plane icon. The only reason I tapped on the aeroplane icon is because I noticed the aircraft's circling of the area and knew this wasn't normal.

I hope that everyone near the South Downs National Park was safe and well, and there was no serious threat to the area or its visitors.

Stay safe and healthy, everyone.
