Here's why driving under the influence is a bad idea

Drug/drink driving causes countless amounts of innocent people — including children — to lose their lives every year, and this is why people should not, under any circumstances, drink or drug drive.

If someone drives with drugs or alcohol in their blood system, they are putting other road users at risk of a serious, or even fatal, collision.

Drug/drink drivers can face many criminal sanctions — including a six-month prison sentence, an unlimited fine, and a criminal record — if they're caught by the police. If those driving under the influence of drink or drugs end up killing someone, they may face a 14-year prison sentence.

Stay safe on the roads, everyone.
