Beagles need plenty of care and are known as hunting dogs as they were bred to hunt down deer and rabbits.
Caring for a Beagle includes many similar responsibilities as caring for any other dog, however, there are differences.
Most importantly, it is crucial to take your Beagle to the vets to get their vaccinations and regular check-ups to prevent bacterial and viral infections as well as discovering potential health problems.
Beagles should be fed a nutritional, dry, and regulated meal. Beagles will eat for England if food is left out for them so it is important to feed them only the appropriate amount, not an all they can eat buffet. Bins should be sealed to prevent your dog(s) from eating out of the trash.
Beagles need a minimum of one hour's exercise per day. Beagles should be walked regularly to keep them exercised, happy, and healthy. It is also important to secure your garden so that your dog(s) cannot escape.
Beagles hardly ever need washes unless they get themselves covered in faeces or dirt. However, their ears should be cleaned with cotton and ear cleaner at a minimum of twice a week. Their nails should be trimmed by you or a vet once a month.
Beagles are knows for barking when left alone or even with you. If your dog(s) bark excessively, you should seek advice from a vet.
