Littlehampton Beach Huts suffer from graffiti (graffiti, and the law)

Three #Littlehampton Beach Huts, in East Beach, have suffered from #graffiti.

(Cc) Dwayne Hards.

Graffiti is a criminal offense throughout the United Kingdom, and can see offenders fined up to £2, 500, or a 3 month jail term, but if the graffiti is over £5, 000, then the vandalisers may receive up to 10 years imprisonment, and a fine, if your aged over 18, but 12-17 year-olds may only receive a training order for up to 24 months, and/or a detention.

PCSOs, and #Police Officers may issue a £50 fixed penalty notice, as an alternative to prosecution, but this is entirely up to the investigating officer.

Offenders may also receive anti-social behaviour charges.
