London police officers' current priority is removing illegal and dangerous weapons — such as knives and swords, sharp objects, and even firearms, as well as other types of weapons — from the streets of London, England.

Officers seized many weapons, including: knives, batons and baseball bats, homemade weapons, screwdrivers, and even swords and firearms. Those carrying the weapons were arrested by officers.

The stop and searches were performed "lawfully" and "fairly", according to Chief Inspector Richard Berns.

This crackdown goes to show that police in the United Kingdom will not tolerate knife crime and that officers will be arresting those in possession of weapons, such as: knives and knuckledusters.

"Only pussies carry knives," say many UK teenagers — including myself — and adults.

Knife crime destroys and costs lives, so leave knives where they belong — in the kitchen, not in your joggers.
