Summer begins in Littlehampton

The reopening of summertime attractions and shops has seen thousands of residents and visitors flock to the seaside earlier today.

The summertime attractions opened today.

Thousands of beachgoers flocked to the seafront earlier today amid the warm summer weather and reopening of the summertime kiosks and attractions.

The off-road train, which only runs along the seafront during the summer months, has started its journeys along the promenade again. Crowds of people were waiting in an enormous queue for their turn to use the train. The train was popular today with many people purchasing tickets and hopping aboard, enjoying a pleasant ride along the seafront.

Many people stopped for some refreshments from our small businesses. After the difficult and challenging time we have all endured, please play your part by respecting yourself and others, and supporting our small businesses to help them with their recovery.
