A 10-year-old school girl — who uses TikTok — has severely burned herself after she copied a 10-second TikTok trend, according to Manchester Evening News.
The "sensible" 10-year-old girl sprayed her hands with deodorant until they felt too cold for her to tolerate. However, instead of her hands feeling cold, she ended up with serious burns and a trip to her local A&E.
The girl may need plastic surgery amid the severity of her injuries. However, she may have to wait for up to two years until she gets an appointment.
The girl's mum is urging people not to take these trends seriously.
TikTok seems to have caused many people — usually teenagers — two types of harm, including: physical harm and psychological harm.
