West Sussex: Armed Police respond to a report of a gunman in Chichester

#Sussex #Police received a report to a gunman in #Chichester, yesterday on #June, 8th, 2021.

Police were dispatched at 6.45 PM due to a member of the public reporting seeing a man carrying a gun on a roof of a flat in Millfield Close, Chichester.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: "Three men aged 25, 27, and 30 were arrested by armed officers a short while later on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear, and are currently in custody for interview, and further enquiries.

"An air rifle has been seized for examination."
