Young people voice their views on the policing roles they claim to trust the most

We anonymously questioned 10 random teenagers on their views regarding the police, and 8 of them said they lack trust in the police but would be more inclined to meet armed response officers, dog handlers, and officers that previously served in the military. They said this due to having a better experience while engaging with these specific officers.

Police officers have been accused of harassing young people and taking them home without good reason, and this reportedly causes young people to do their best to avoid law enforcement.
