Crime: New animal welfare law means abusers will soon face 5 years instead of the current 6 months

In two nations of the #UK, both #England, and #Wales, animal abusers may now receive five-years imprisonment instead of the current 6-months. This law will come in to force on #June 29th, 2021.

The #RSPCA have petitioned in a desperate attempt to bring those to firmer justice whom abuse animals.

Those convicted under the Animal Welfare Act of 2006 may soon face up to five-years imprisonment.
